On the way they recall memories of old loves, lose themselves in passion, disgraced in gambling, sink into debt ... It culminates in the inner search for through the blues harp lost in the desert, echoing with the barking of the wandering coyotes and blended with the sound of a slide guitar ...
Delta Blues Riders are from Oporto and with a truly appealing repertoire, these four musicians reinvent the sonorities that originated the blues (Mississippi) until today, where the constant dialogues between guitar, piano, harmonica and resonator, allied to a strong interaction with the public, make them one of the finest and most complete Blues bands in Portugal, gathering a complete set of Blues traditional instruments: Harp, Piano, Resonator Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass and Double Bass, Drums; ... all in a band with just 4 members!
Delta Blues Riders is the portuguese band in the European Blues Challenge 2019. In its formation are some of the best and most experienced blues musicians that accompanied great international names, such as Diurna Greenleaf (Texas), Pat "Mother Blues" Cohen (New Orleans), Slam Allen (New York), Chris Bell (Atlanta), Connie Lush (UK), Trevor Sewell (UK), Zakiya Hooker (Atlanta), Mable John (singer of Ray Charles of Mowtown Records).
